The Polytechnic University of Tirana (UPT) hosted a dissemination event dedicated to sharing key information and developments from the LAIA Project, with a special focus on the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education and industry. Held at the Aula Magna Room on October 15, 2025; the event brought together participants from academia, industry, and youth organizations to explore how AI-driven innovation is reshaping skills, competencies, and labor market expectations.
Throughout the event, UPT representatives introduced the main objectives of the LAIA Project, highlighting how the initiative supports the integration of artificial intelligence into teaching, learning, and industry collaboration. Presentations emphasized the project’s efforts to strengthen university–industry partnerships by promoting AI-based tools, modern learning approaches, and innovative practices that prepare students for future professional challenges.
Discussions explored how AI can help bridge the gap between higher education and the evolving needs of the labor market. Speakers shared insights on digital transformation, the importance of AI literacy, and the ways in which advanced technologies can support more efficient problem-solving, decision-making, and practical training.
