The LAIA (Laboratory on Artificial Intelligence in Albania and Kosovo) Project was presented at the Job Fair held at the Polytechnic University of Tirana on 21 May 2026. In the event participated students, graduates, academic staff, and representatives from various companies and organizations, creating a valuable opportunity to promote the project with potential beneficiaries.
During the fair, the LAIA project team introduced visitors to the project’s goals, activities, and expected impact on higher education and the development of Artificial Intelligence skills in Albania and Kosovo. Participants learned about the establishment of modern AI laboratories, the development of innovative study programmes, and the opportunities that the project will create for students and academic staff.
Many students showed strong interest in the project, particularly in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and future career opportunities in the technology sector.
The Job Fair provided an excellent platform to increase the visibility of the LAIA project and to connect with students who may benefit directly from its activities and outcomes. The participation of the LAIA project in the Job Fair was a successful dissemination activity, helping to promote the project’s vision, foster interest in AI education, and strengthen its outreach within the academic and professional community.
