RAISE Open Day: Shaping Tomorrow’s Learning

The RAISE Open Day: Shaping Tomorrow’s Learning took place on 09 September 2026 at the Polytechnic University of Tirana in Tirana, Albania.
The event brought together educators, partners, and key stakeholders to explore advancements in sustainability and digital education. Organized by UPT, the morning opened with welcoming remarks from the host institution, setting a collaborative tone for the day’s discussions on evolving educational frameworks.
The initial sessions focused heavily on setting the context and outlining the foundational research of the RAISE Project. Representatives from KPT introduced the project’s main objectives, partner network, and expected results, explicitly highlighting Work Packages 2 and 6. Following this, UPT shared valuable insights and detailed the preliminary findings derived from their recent Training Needs Analysis, bridging theoretical project goals with current academic realities.
The discussion shifted into an active, collaborative session dedicated to stakeholder engagement to identify skills faps in sustainability and digital education. Attendees participated in a structured dialogue led by UPT to pinpoint critical skills gaps and challenges in digital and sustainable learning fields. This smoothly transitioned into an interactive activity moderated by KPT, where participants brainstormed actionable recommendations and strategic solutions to address the identified skills gaps.
The event concluded with a dedicated session to validate the day’s collective findings, ensuring that the gathered data and recommendations were accurately captured for future project phases. UPT delivered closing remarks, paving the way for an open networking session.
